Internet services and online marketing solutions provider Web.com is to acquire web host and domain registrar Donweb.com
. One of the internet originals, Web.com has headquarters in West Jacksonville, Florida, United States. The company offers “Internet services to small businesses to help them compete and succeed online”. Its services enable customers to build websites with a website builder and it also offers a web design service. Alongside SSL certificates, it also offers cloud servers, email marketing and online marketing services. The acquisition will be an “important driver of Web.com's international growth strategy”.
Donweb.com, which has headquarters in Santa Fe, Argentina, is one of the leading providers in Latin America. The company offers a wide range of services including email marketing options, VPS, and dedicated servers. Established in 2002, the company also offers cloud servers and web hosting. It predominantly caters to small and medium-sized businesses. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
