Internet Services Provider Web.com Acquires Latin American Web Host Donweb.com
Internet services provider Web.com Group, Inc. (Web.com) has acquired Latin American web host Donweb.com. Web.com, which has headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, was established in 1997. The company provides a wide range of products and services with a focus on helping small businesses “compete and succeed online”. These products and services extend to website design and management, search engine optimization, online marketing campaigns, local sales leads, social media, and ecommerce solutions. Its acquisition of Donweb.com “complements and strengthens” its presence in Latin America.

Donweb.com has headquarters in Santa Fe, Argentina. Established in 2002, the company’s services have a close fit to Donweb.com’s and include web hosting, dedicated servers, domain registration and email marketing solutions, and online backup. Like Web.com, the company also offers website design services.

"The Latin American market is a strategic focus for us, and one where we have been building a presence thanks to our existing Web.com teams based in Argentina, Colombia, and Spain," explained David Brown, the Chairman, CEO and President of Web.com. "We found in Donweb.com a company whose employees truly understand the online marketing needs of Latin American small businesses, and we are excited to have them join the Web.com family."
