Solvere One has acquired cloud computing provider V-Oasis. The company, which is based on Washington, DC, USA, provides a range of "white glove" managed services that include "crisis management" alongside hardware and social media support. It primarily carters to enterprise, education and government customers in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. The acquisition strengthens Solvere One's cloud hosting capabilities. Financial aspects of the deal have not been released.
Alongside private clouds, V-Oasis specializes in managed security services. With headquarters in Sterling, Virginia, USA, the company is a "product group of seven key solutions to meet the IT needs of small and medium sized businesses". Its products include cost-effective "file sharing, security, computing, disaster recovery, email, phone, and system hosting" solutions. The company's services are offered on a "a la carte", "pay-as-you-go" basis.
“With this acquisition, we will be able to provide our clients with state-of-the-art infrastructure, in a facility leading in security and data availability, to meet the demands of evolving technology and a more efficient workforce, while maintaining the high level of customer service and support we have been known for since 1997," explained Solvere One's CEO and President, Greg Roney. "We are thrilled to be able to expand our services to help DC metro area businesses grow.”
