Peak 10 has been selected by Red Hat to provide a co-location site to help maintain the availability and security of its IT, networking and engineering activities. The North Carolina-based company will also provide Red Hat’s R&D team with a private test lab.
Red Hat is a recognized leader in the Linux and open source technology arena and caters to a broad global customer base which includes 80% of Fortune 500 companies. Peak 10's support for Red Hat will ensure the company's solutions are fully available and tested in a secure environment before release. Peak 10’s range of data centers will ensure that Red Hat can scale its IT infrastructure as required. It will act as one of the hubs for Red Hat’s Americas IT network, transferring data and applications from Red Hat’s U.S. data centers to Red Hat’s global network of data centers via Peak 10’s facilities.
Peak 10's services include cloud computing, information technology (IT) infrastructure solutions and managed services focused on medium-sized companies. The company is Cisco® Cloud Provider Certified and has Cisco Powered Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) designation. The company is also SSAE 16 certified. It operates data centers in ten U.S. markets and is currently expanding its data center space in its Raleigh, North Carolina.
