IT solutions provider
C&W Business has gained a key Cisco cloud certification. C&W Business, which has headquarters in Coral Gables, Florida, United States, specializes in solutions that “improve productivity, streamline efficiencies, increase speed to market or exploit new opportunities”. The NOC/SOC/CSOC and ISO/IEC 27001:2013-certified company offers a broad range of IT solutions including managed, data center, and cloud services alongside telecommunications, unified communications and connectivity options. It operates “the largest network in the Pan Caribbean region” - a fiber optic network which spans more than 48,000 kilometers. It also operates regional data centers in Bogota, Panama, Miami, Cayman and Curacao. The company has gained Cisco Cloud Certification and Managed Services Partner (CMSP) Master certification for the Caribbean and Latin American region.
The CMSP Master certification is designed for Cisco partners who sell and deliver its products and services. C&W Business joins an “elite group of Cisco partners worldwide” who have acquired the certification after a third-party audit of their solutions. This audit included “showing a network operation center capable of servicing multiple ‘referenceable’ customers as well as passing an independent third-party audit of capabilities”. The company also had to demonstrate established managed service ITIL processes and practices, and the “tools in place to support Cisco advanced technologies at all phases of the lifecycle — prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize”.
“We are truly delighted to have earned this CMSP Master Certification for the Caribbean and Latin America,” explained C&W Business’ Chief Commercial Officer, Shuja Khan. “Attaining this globally recognized certification further underlines our expertise and capacity to provide Cloud based Managed Services to our customers in the region. As the only provider in the Caribbean with this certification, it also demonstrates our position as one of Cisco’s “go-to” partners for providing cloud-based services.”
