iTVcon Internet TV Conference & Expo 2007 Takes Place in New York in June

December 26, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – SYS-CON Events has announced today that the first "iTVcon Internet TV Conference & Expo 2007" (http://www.itvcon.com) will take place June 25-26, 2007 in New York. Calls for papers for the conference, sponsorship and exhibit opportunities were made available today at the conference website, as was delegate registration.

The event will reference the growth of video on the Internet and the extent to which video has now become a key ingredient of a successful website. The event also looks at Internet TV as a “direct-to-consumer opportunity.” The conference will offer four simultaneous tracks in two days. Track 1 will appeal to corporate marketing, advertising, product and brand managers while track 2 will appeal to software programmers, developers, website owners and operators. Track 3 will appeal to advertising agencies, advertisers and video content producers while track 4 provides content for print and online content providers, representatives from traditional media companies, print and online magazine and newspaper publishers, network and cable television business managers.

iTVCon topics will include advertising models for Video-on-Demand (VOD), Internet TV commercials, mastering Adobe Flash video, multicasting, extending Internet TV to Windows CE-based devices, pay-per-view and a number of web hosting issues as they related to video streaming.
