Jiadong Chen has joined New Zealand's
Company-X’ - an agile development specialist based in Hamilton, Waikato, on the country’s North Island. Company-X, which was established in 2012, specializes in a broad range of areas. These include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), business analysis, systems design, and web and mobile app development. Onboarding Mr. Chen “deepens its expertise in augmented and virtual reality as well as Microsoft's cloud services”.
An expert in Microsoft cloud and Unity 3D, 2D, augmented, and virtual reality technologies, Mr. Chen joins the company as Senior Software Developer. He is an experienced .NET Developer and a Microsoft MVP and joins Company-X from Unity, the provider of “the world’s most widely-used real-time 3D development platform” where he was a Field Engineer. Before Unity, he was a game programmer. He graduated from Dalian Maritime University in Liaoning, China, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Information Science and Technology.
A Microsoft certified Azure developer associate and holder of a Microsoft Azure fundamentals certificate, Mr. Chen was also previously a speaker at Unite Conf (both in Beijing and Shanghai) and a speaker at the Microsoft Ignite tour of Beijing. Most importantly, he is a five-time winner of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), developer technologies award. The Microsoft MVP award recognizes 3000 of the industry’s “best and brightest” annually. Mr. Chen’s Microsoft Azure cloud computing experience includes “building, testing, deploying and managing applications through Microsoft data centers”.
