Parallels, today announced it had appointed former Microsoft executive, John Zanni to lead its Alliances division.
John was responsible for building Microsoft’s hosting business from 2005 where he focused on building strategic partnerships with many of the industry’s leading hosters. He is a well respected voice in the community and is expected to strengthen Parallels commitment to help hosters increase their profitability in the delivery of Cloud services to small businesses. In his new role, John will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of its technology and go-to-market alliances with key partners.

John is the former general manager of the Worldwide Software plus Services Industry team for the Communications Sector at Microsoft, where he was responsible for its hosting strategy.
