Mr. Kevin Shannon has joined managed cloud services provider
RapidScale. With headquarters in Irvine, California, United States, RapidScale provides a range of services to customers all over the world. These services include its proprietary solutions (CloudServer, CloudDesktop, CloudOffice, CloudMail, CloudRecovery, and CloudApps) alongside Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud computing options. Mr. Shannon joins the company as Operations Manager.
Mr. Shannon brings a wealth of experience to RapidScale. An industry veteran, he has a strong history enhancing operational standards and quality at a number of organizations. Before taking his latest position he was Senior Director of Operations at Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications, where he was in charge directing operations and engineering teams, defining company strategies, and internal and external partnerships. His other roles have included Vice President of Operations at PAETEC Communications/Windstream Communications, which has headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. Mr. Shannon has an MBA in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology. In his new position he will oversee RapidScale’s compliance and integration projects.
