Leading Web Hosting Provider BroadSpire Relocates to Downtown L.A.

May 5, 2004
LOS ANGELES (May 3, 2004) – BroadSpire (www.broadspire.com), a leading managed IT services provider, today announced that it has relocated its executive offices to downtown Los Angeles from Mission Hills, in the north San Fernando Valley.

The company is now based at 1200 West Seventh Street in downtown. BroadSpire’s headquarters facility is capable of accommodating approximately 35-40 employees.

BroadSpire made the move to support recent and anticipated growth, consolidate all employees under one roof, and increase its proximity to its data center, which is also located at 1200 W. Seventh. The company maintains additional data centers in Virginia, London and Amsterdam, and sales/administrative offices in Los Angeles, London and Chennai, India.

“We’re delighted to both expand our executive offices and join the robust business community in downtown Los Angeles, which remains the economic hub of the western U.S. and a global leader in technology and finance,” said Suresh Srinivasan, CEO, BroadSpire. “Strategically, we’re now closer to current and potential customers, and we look forward to additional efficiencies as we move forward.”

In April, the company signed a three-year agreement to provide Web hosting services for the award-winning ExperienceLA.com (www.experiencela.com) – a free online resource for exploring the Los Angeles region's wealth of cultural attractions, sponsored by a coalition of prominent Los Angeles area public and private organizations.

ExperienceLA.com is a public service provided by the City of Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA/LA), the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, Los Angeles County Arts Commission, LA Inc., the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the University of Southern California and other public and private partners throughout the region. The site recently won a Golden Web Award for excellence and innovation.

Now in its eighth year, BroadSpire is profitable and debt-free, providing hosting and managed IT services to organizations that require 100 percent performance and service level guarantees. The company was recognized as the 17th fastest growing technology firm in Los Angeles by Deloitte & Touche in 2003. BroadSpire hosts some 80,000 domains for small businesses in more than 35 countries around the world.
