iNSYNQ, which is based in Gig Harbor, Washington, United States, was established in 1997. The company manages its customers’ cloud computing technology, catering primarily to small- and medium-sized businesses offering “safe access to their data and applications”. These applications include QuickBooks and hosted Peachtree services, providing managed IT services, Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS), and web application management services. The company also offers managed business application hosting on dedicated servers.
The acquisition underscores Summit Hosting’s position as “one of the largest managed application hosting providers” and adds to its “comprehensive suite of cloud solutions for small to medium-sized businesses.'' The company’s headquarters will remain in Alpharetta. “With Summit Hosting’s dedicated servers, iNSYNQ’s customers can now manage their own resources as well as install and integrate their own applications versus the limited capabilities offered by a shared environment,” explained a company press release.
