Managed cloud and application hosting solutions provider Hostway
has announced the launch of new cloud-based managed Magento solutions. Hostway has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States and its services extend to private clouds, hybrid cloud hosting, managed servers and web and email hosting. Its new offerings provide versions 1.9 or the recently released 2.0 of the ecommerce solution, and underscore the importance of Magento.
An Open Source (OS), Magento is the leading ecommerce solution. Available as a free download, the solution allows users to create complex ecommerce sites. As with other OS solutions, Magento is supported by a global community which develops commercial and non-commercial modules that enhance a Magento website’s functionality. Magento also offers a range of paid and non-paid themes that enable users to give Magento sites the look and feel they want. Hostway’s latest Magento offerings enable businesses to “provide the best possible online buying experience”.
The new offerings “combine Hostway’s full suite of application management services with the scalability and security of the cloud”. The Managed Magento Starter package manages one online store well and is available at $99.95 per month. The Managed Magento Advanced packages costs $199.95 per month and facilitates “greater processing power, storage and capacity” to facilitate multiple stores. All Hostway’s ecommerce options leverage the Microsoft Azure framework and are underpinned by ongoing support. All aspects of its ecommerce services are managed by Hostway’s support teams.
“Developers and merchants need a cost-effective solution that allows them to build and optimize their storefronts, and one that they won’t outgrow as their venture gains momentum,” explained Hostway’s General Manager of Web and Applications, John Enright. “Our solution provides the full functionality of the feature-rich Magento platform without all of the cost and complexity that goes into provisioning and maintaining the application.”Do you know on any other companies offering new managed Magento packages?
