Bluelock has announced the launch of new disaster recovery services. The company, which has offices and SSAE Type II SOC 2 certified, Tier 3 and Tier 4 data center facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, provides services that “empower information technology leaders in charge of high-potential, high-risk workloads”. The company’s solutions allow users to “focus on impactful, strategic initiatives and manage rapidly evolving infrastructure requirements” without being involved in data center infrastructure management. Its new service is a Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solution directed at protecting sensitive data.
Bluelock’s move is intended to address increased enterprise requirements for DRaaS solutions, especially those that protect sensitive data in virtualized and non-virtualized applications. Its service is backed by a ‘Recovery Assurance Program’ that addresses key aspects of a customer’s recovery plan. Businesses with “complex, nuanced production environments” require disaster recovery solutions that are unique to their individual recovery needs. Bluelock also analyzes risks and produces tailor-made cloud solutions for companies that require constant data availability.
“Many businesses go to extremes to protect sensitive data and applications in production, but don’t consider the vulnerabilities created by not taking the same precautions in their disaster recovery environment,” suggested Christopher Clapp, the CEO of Bluelock. “As business leaders become more sensitive to the risk technology dependence creates, especially when they must run in recovery for an extended period of time, they need to elevate the complex security requirements for their DRaaS solution.”
