(Hostway) has launched a hybrid cloud service. Hostway, which has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States, was established in 1998. The company offers a broad array of hosting options, including virtual private clouds, dedicated private clouds and hybrid cloud hosting. The company also offers shared and managed hosting alongside dedicated private servers and hosting for ecommerce solutions such as Magento. It also provides email hosting and hosted Microsoft Exchange options. It new hybrid cloud service leverages Microsoft Azure’s public cloud.
Hostway’s new fully managed service means its customers now have “the best technology infrastructure” for their businesses and can refocus on core competencies by avoiding the need to invest in IT. A Microsoft Gold Partner, Hostway specializes in Microsoft virtualization and offers expertise in the “design, build and run Azure-based hybrid solutions”. The new scalable service optimizes apps for public, private cloud or on-premise platforms. It allows users to run “predictable workloads” locally (or using the Hostway Virtual Private Cloud) with “burst loads” managed by the Microsoft Azure public cloud. Ideal for development and testing, the service allows “split deployment” with databases run in Virtual Private Cloud and web servers in Microsoft Azure public cloud.
