Managed database and cloud services provider
RDX has acquired cloud migration company clckwrk Limited (clckwrk). RDX, which was established in 1994, is “one of the largest independent providers of database infrastructure, data management and cloud management services in North America”. The company caters to to “hundreds of clients” offering on premise and public cloud managed services that leverage a range of cloud platforms including Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and database environments such as Oracle DB Cloud, Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 and MongoDB. RDX’s solutions also support Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems. By acquiring clckwrk RDX “diversifies its portfolio of services”.
Established in 2011, clckwrk has headquarters in London, United Kingdom. The company is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and Oracle Gold Partner. It “specializes in architecting, designing, migrating and managing Oracle technologies and enterprise application environments in the AWS public cloud”. clckwrk also offers AWS cloud migration and management services. The company caters to customers across Europe and North America who wish to migrate on-premise Oracle solutions to the AWS public cloud. Financial aspects of the deal have yet to be released.
