January 24, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Managed dedicated and VPS hosting solutions provider WiredTree (http://www.wiredtree.com) has announced the launch of fully managed servers alongside a customer portal that enables users to control managed servers.
WiredTree’s new managed dedicated servers offer a number of new features including “the ability to connect to WiredTree’s private internal network”. WiredTree’s network offers free, unmetered traffic between WiredTree servers and allows access to services that include “network backups, Network Attached Storage (NAS), DNS resolvers, and premium server monitoring solutions”. Servers are provided with single or dual processors and powered by either AMD or Intel hardware. The company is also offering a “Hybrid Dedicated server, which synergizes enterprise-level hardware specifications with small to medium sized business software requirements”.
“The managed hosting sector is a growing component of the hosting industry, but ultimately, it has been significantly underserved,” explained President of Wiretree, Mr. Zac Cogswell. “As a highly experienced provider, we understand exactly what needs to be done to meet its ever-changing needs and requirements. Our product offerings today really reflect that knowledge.”
The company ‘s new proprietary portal application provides access to customer support, server health status, performance metrics, and bandwidth usage graphs. It also allows clients to manage DNS, IP Addresses, billing, and hardware and service upgrades.
