Managed Hosting and Cloud Provider CentriLogic Agrees to Acquire Data Center Operator Adveniat
Managed hosting and cloud provider CentriLogic has agreed to acquire data center operator Adveniat. As Adveniat is based in the US Virgin Islands, the move substantially extends CentriLogic's business reach. Alongside Adveniat, CentriLogic now eight other data centers in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. Financial details were not disclosed.

The move underscores CentriLogic's global expansion policy. Adveniat represents CentriLogic's third acquisition over the last year and a half. The purchase allows the company to offer enhanced colocation options as well as leverage Adveniat's ecommerce and payment processing expertise. Given its location, Adveniat is situated in a "key hub" which brings together South America and Central America, as well as the Caribbean, North America and Europe. Companies utilizing services through Adveniat's Tier 1, N+2 are able to benefit from tax reductions for revenue generated in the US Virgin Islands' RTPark.

"This is a great opportunity for our current and prospective customers to work with a world-class organization to support their growing demands," added Adveniat's COO, Corey Blanton. "We are very proud of what Adveniat has done for the technology sector in the US Virgin Islands and we are looking forward to its future growth with CentriLogic."
