Managed Hosting Services Provider CenturyLink Moves into China
Managed hosting services provider CenturyLink has launched services in a market which research company Gartner Inc. suggests will reach $375 billion in 2015 - China. The move has been facilitated through an agreement with IT solutions provider Neusoft, and is the company's bid to better serve multinationals in the Asia-Pacific region. Its full range of services will now be available through a data center located in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.

CenturyLink's expansion into the Chinese market is part of the company's strategy of global data center expansions. The company recently opened a data center in Toronto, Canada.

Alongside managed hosting, CenturyLink offers security, data, voice, cloud and networking solutions. With headquarters in Monroe, Louisiana, the company is recognized as the third largest US telecommunications company. The S&P 500 company provides cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions to businesses through an advanced fiber optic network and a network of 57 data centers.

"For multinational corporations looking to grow their customer base, entering China presents enormous opportunities and challenges," explained Managing Director, Asia Pacific at CenturyLink, Gery Messer. "CenturyLink makes it easy for businesses to host within China's borders, offering access to the same highly secure managed services and consistent IT experience available across our global footprint."
