Future Hosting has upgraded resources and performance for customers of its Virtual Private Server (VPS) plans. Future Hosting, which has headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, United States, was established in 2001. The company offers a range of products and services alongside VPS options. These extend to dedicated servers and hybrid Virtual Private Servers. While Future Hosting regularly updates its managed and unmanaged VPS server hosting, this latest upgrade represents the “biggest ever loyalty upgrade for VPS clients” at no additional cost to customers.
Future Hosting’s SSD-powered server plans will receive the resources of a higher level package. This means SSD2 customers, who currently receive 1.5GB of RAM, 35GB of SSD storage, and 2TB of bandwidth, will receive an upgrade that is equivalent to the resources provided by Future Hosting’s SSD4 plans - 3GB of RAM, 65GB of SSD storage, and 4TB of bandwidth. In addition, customers of the company’s SSD server-based VM2 VPS plans will receive an upgrade of resources equivalent to Future Hosting’s SSD3 plans - 2GB of RAM, 50GB of SSD storage and 3TB of bandwidth. Each of the company’s SSD VPS plans are underpinned by managed hosting services that include 24-hour software installation support and the ‘Future Protect’ backup solution alongside the optional Future Engineer Pro management solution (which provides Operating System (OS) and kernel updates).
“Future Hosting regularly updates the hardware our virtual private server hosting plans run on, and we think it’s only fair that as the technology improves, our clients see tangible benefits,” explained Future Hosting’s Vice President of Operations, Maulesh Patel. “This is our biggest-ever loyalty upgrade, and the new server capabilities will make a real difference to the performance of our clients’ servers.”
