The company also ensures its customers “benefit from industry-leading technologies and advanced hosting capabilities”. SysGroup has agreed to acquire Certus IT for £8 million ($10.36 million) in a cash deal.
Certus IT has headquarters in Newport, South Wales and was established in 2000. The company’s managed IT services leverage a range of technologies. The company has a range of partnerships including Dell EMC (Gold Partner status), Microsoft (Gold Data Center Partner), and Kaspersky (Gold Partner). With the acquisition, SysGroup will be able to operate in new business areas and in physical locations. It is the latest in a number of acquisitions that underscores SysGroup’s aggressive growth strategy.
“I am delighted to be welcoming both the Certus IT team and its customers to the SysGroup family,” explained SysGroup’s CEO Adam Binks in a statement on the company’s website.
“The addition of Certus IT to the group represents a step-change regarding the scale of the business, better positioning SysGroup to penetrate our target market and drive further growth.
