Managed Server Hosting Provider WiredTree Upgrades Managed Server Hosting Plans
Managed server hosting provider WiredTree has announced the upgrade of its managed server hosting plans. The company, which has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, USA, bills itself as “delivering managed hosting experience that places the client in complete command; covering virtual, hybrid, and dedicated web hosting”. The company prides itself on high levels of support, and caters to around 5,000 customers. Its upgrades impact the company’s entire range of managed virtual private servers and hybrid servers and they will be available to existing customers at no extra cost.

WiredTree regularly offers customers free “level-ups” that provide them with “newer, faster, and more capable hardware”. Its Virtual Private Server offerings receive a 60% enhancement, while its Hybrid Server RAM has a 100% increase in bandwidth allocations. The company’s VPS 2500 plan previously offered 2,560MB of RAM and 8TB of bandwidth. It will now be levelled up to the same specifications as the VPS 4000 plan, which offers 4,096MB of RAM and 10TB of bandwidth. The levelled-up offerings will also be available to new WiredTree clients.

These are the first in a number of updates planned for WiredTree's server hosting plans. These include “faster CPUs, HDDs, and larger SSD caches for SSD-Accelerated and Hybrid Server hosting plans”. “Unlike other hosting companies, when we update our platform, we bring our existing clients along at no extra price,” explained WiredTree’s President, Zac Cogswell. “WiredTree's level-ups ensure that our clients will always have access to industry-leading hardware, performance, and reliability.”
