Datapipe has received two “Stevie” awards in the 2015 American Business Awards. Datapipe, which has headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, operates data centers in Somerset, New Jersey, San Jose, California, the United Kingdom, and in China. The company specializes in managed hosting, cloud services, and managed hybrid IT solutions. It offers “the most complete set of services, global locations, and industry leading partners” and was recognized in the “Technical Innovation of the Year” and “Company of the Year” categories.
The Stevie Awards recognize “outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide”. The awards cover “organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them”. They receive around 10,000 entries annually from companies located in 60 countries (but which operate in the USA). 200 executives participated in judging this year’s winners. This is the first year Datapipe has won a Stevie Award in the Technical Innovation of the Year category, but the second year in a row it has won the Company of the Year category.
Datapipe was recognized for the development of the Datapipe Access Control Model for AWS (DACMA) - an “AWS best practice that brings a deeper level of trust and security specifically focused on protecting and safeguarding an enterprise’s virtual infrastructure”. Once implemented, DACMA is a maintenance-free solution that mitigates the possibility of service disruption or data breach due to “unauthorized access or activity of an AWS environment by either Datapipe or the client”.
