Managed Services and Infrastructure Provider Datapipe in the Forbes America’s Most Promising Companies List
Managed services and infrastructure provider Datapipe has been listed in the Forbes America’s Most Promising Companies List. The Jersey City, New Jersey-based company, whose services include cloud computing, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, colocation and data center management, was awarded 60th position in the annual list of the top one hundred privately held companies with promising futures. The current list is dominated by technology companies, with 47 "Software and Services Industry" companies making the top 100, and five such companies included in the top ten.

FORBES' list looks at young companies and considers a range of variables to forecast future success. The top 100 companies were drawn from thousands of applications over a 6-month period. Growth in terms of sales and staff employed, management team quality, quality of investors, margins, market footprint and partnerships were all factors driving FORBES' assessment process.

Manhattan-based data research firm CB Insights was engaged to utilize its MOSAIC software to produce initial assessment for the list. The software uses data from 45,000 sources and uses a range of markers to establish the health of a company. The final list was drawn up by FORBES after verifying issues such as sales figures and after discussions with each company.

“Datapipe excels at managing mission-critical IT solutions for our clients,” explained Datapipe's CEO Robb Allen. “Through our innovative cloud solutions and personal customer support, Datapipe has earned the trust of our customers. Forbes validation of our momentum on this prestigious list is recognition of our drive to be the best in our industry.”
