Managed services provider
Continuum Managed Services (Continuum) has signed a distribution agreement with software company Portland Europe. Continuum, which has global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, was established in 2005. The company specializes in offering managed IT services providers “the technology platform, services and processes they need to simplify IT management and deliver exceptional service to their small and medium-sized clients”. It has 5,800 partners globally, which include IT service providers that cater for around 60,000 SMEs and web hosting providers. The distribution deal with Portland Europe speeds up Continuum’s global expansion plans.
With headquarters in Zoetermeer, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, Portland Europe was established in 1998. Recognized as a key distributor of “scalable software solutions for the reseller channel” in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) area, the company focuses on reseller channels and aims to be “the best distributor in the game”. It concentrates on catering to SMEs by providing innovative software solutions that bring software developers and resellers together. The arrangement will see Portland Europe’s Benelux Managed Solution Providers (MSPs) have access to “Continuum’s fully-managed remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform”.
"We are very excited about our relationship with Continuum,” explained Portland Europe’s founder, George van Brugge. “It fills an important gap in Portland's MSP centric portfolio. Continuum’s SOC and NOC services are an important part of the daily lives of MSPs. With Continuum’s 24/7 services, MSPs don't have to worry about the wellbeing of their end customers. With today's cyber threats MSPs need to make sure their customers’ infrastructure is safe, even after working hours, and can do so without the need of hiring extra expensive staff being able to deliver these services."
