Management Consulting and Technology Services Company Accenture Acquires Cloud Company Cloud Sherpas
Management consulting and technology services company Accenture PLC (Accenture) has acquired cloud company Cloud Sherpas in a deal that significantly strengthens its cloud-based capabilities. Accenture, which has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, was established in 1989. The company is a globally recognized brand which employs around 3356,000 people around the world and had net revenues of $31.87 billion in 2014. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.

Established in 2008, Cloud Sherpas has headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and has a global presence with facilities in Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The company specializes in catering to companies that wish to “manage their customer relationships and streamline their IT processes” by offering a range of cloud based services from providers such as Google, Salesforce and ServiceNow. Cloud Sherpas’ entire United States-based workforce will be absorbed by Accenture.
