Marketing Technologies Provider RTB House Selects Dutch Data Center Services Provider maincubes
Marketing technologies provider RTB House has selected Dutch data center services provider maincubes to manage its new Open Compute Project (OCP) infrastructure. RTB House, which has headquarters in Warsaw, Poland, was established in 2012. With more than 1,600 clients worldwide, the company offers “state-of-the-art marketing technologies” and specializes in a range of areas including personalized retargeting, internet advertising, behavioral targeting, ecommerce, and deep learning algorithms. It has a global presence and caters to a variety of top global brands. The company will expand its European IT infrastructure by colocating its OCP hardware in maincubes’ Amsterdam-based ‘AMS01’ data center.

maincubes, which was established in 2012, serves a global clientele providing cloud, connectivity, IT Infrastructure, colocation, and IT security services. A division of the Zech Group, the company has headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany and provides an extensive European data center network. Its services extend to cloud, connectivity, IT Infrastructure, colocation, and IT security services. OCP-ready equipment “requires very specific data center power and cooling technology setups” and maincubes was able to meet RTB House’s specific requirements.

The move will facilitate RTB House’s growth and IT infrastructure extension into the European market. Its choice of maincubes was based on the data center provider's ability to offer a carrier-neutral colocation data center facility in Amsterdam. Its OCP colocation data center racks will go live February 2020.

“Our initial data center in Amsterdam houses traditional hardware,” explained Bartłomiej Romański, RTB House’s CTO. “The maincubes Amsterdam AMS01 facility will be used for deploying our OCP-ready equipment. There are many advantages to using Open Compute hardware. These include energy efficiency, modularity thus flexibility, as well as easy maintenance. The open specifications also allow for better understanding of the underlying components and to realize the hardware’s full potential. Next to that, OCP hardware is uniquely designed for large deployments. We plan to further scale our OCP-based IT infrastructure with maincubes and maincubes has the ability to accommodate us on this.”
