Messaging, collaboration and office productivity software provider
Open-Xchange has launched OX Drive - an addition to the company’s OX App Suite. OX Drive is an Internet, mobile and desktop file collaboration and synchronization solution provided through cloud, hosting and telcom providers which leverages WebRTC technology. It will be presented at the Parallels Summit which takes place February 24-26, 2014 in New Orleans.
Open-Xchange was established in 2005 and has headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany. The company also has offices in San Jose, California, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its solutions are white-label rivals to solutions like Microsoft 365 and Google Apps and allow providers to offer their customers similar services.
Like Microsoft 365 and Google Apps, OX App Suite offers email, calendar, contacts, file management and social network integration through a single platform. With OX Drive, OX App Suite offers file syncing and enables users to increase productivity through collaboration. The solution can be accessed through PCs and Android, iOS, Windows 7/8 and OS X-based devices. Its features include in-browser document viewing and document editing and collaboration through OX Documents.
