Microsoft Canada's Cloud Society has recognized asset management system provider MediaValet
as a ‘Canadian Cloud Leader’. MediaValet, which has headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was established in 2010. The company is recognized as providing the “world's first 100% cloud-based, enterprise class, global, digital asset management system”. Its solution is underpinned by Microsoft's Windows Azure cloud.
The Microsoft Cloud Society recognizes early Microsoft Azure adopters that have enabled companies to do more in a “Mobile first, Cloud First” environment. The company has been recognized for its commitment towards cloud leadership and innovation in the cloud. The Canadian Cloud Leader award will be awarded on March 12, 2016.
MediaValet’s platform addresses the digital asset management needs of companies of a range of sizes and in a number of industries. Alongside solutions for asset management it specializes in solutions for creative workflow and supply chain, and media asset management, amongst other areas.
MediaValet’s platform leverages Microsoft’s scalable Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud which is available through Microsoft's network of 26 “highly secure data centers in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific.
