June 15, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Microsoft Corporation (http://www.microsoft.com) is looking for feedback on its role in the web hosting industry, the company announced yesterday. Web hosting professionals are being asked to take part in a short qualitative survey that requires answering seven short questions in as much detail as you feel necessary.
The questions are as follows:
1. How would you describe Microsoft's presence in the hosting industry?
2. What do you perceive as Microsoft's barriers in the hosting industry?
3. What do you perceive as Microsoft's strengths?
4. What do you think Microsoft needs to do better to help hosters take advantage of new opportunities such as SaaS?
5. How do Microsoft platforms stack up against Linux?
6. With companies like Google and MySpace rapidly altering the Web, do you see Microsoft as friend or foe?
7. What trends are you most interested in following over the next 12 months?
