DiscountASP.NET has announced the launch of shared Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2015 hosting options. The company, which has headquarters in Pasadena, California, USA, bills itself as “a leader in hosting solutions for Microsoft developers”. The company is a “Microsoft Partner with the Gold Hosting Competency” and its solutions include shared and managed TFS hosting solutions alongside independent TFS Build solutions. The launch of TFS hosting will be available through the company’s data centers in the United States and in Europe.
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2015 is the latest iteration of Microsoft’s application lifecycle management solution. It offers a range of enhancements on previous versions. These include the ability to quick code edits via a web interface, rename team projects, and display task board bugs. The solution also offers “customizable cards, backlog management and Kanban board enhancements, improved identity control and Git integration improvements”.
DiscountASP.NET is offering developers 30-days access free of charge to allow up to 5 users to test its new option. Each of the company’s TFS accounts allow developers to manage unlimited projects. “TFS continues to evolve and significantly improves developer productivity with each new version. We are very excited to add shared TFS 2015 hosting to our solution portfolio” explained DiscountASP.NET’s VP Business Development, Takeshi Eto.
