Brewing company Molson Coors is working with
HP Enterprise Services to move its finance and human resources (HR) processes and systems to the cloud. The aim of the move is to improve the company's access to business critical data, reduce costs and increase efficiency. HP will manage Molson Coors' migration to a scalable HP cloud environment which will allow the company to increase and decrease resources as its business needs require.
The move is an extension of existing HP support for the company - HP has provided infrastructure support for Molson Coors since 2005, and supported the company's finance, administration and HR services since 2008.
"In the evolving beer market, we look for business solutions that help keep us nimble and flexible, so that we can focus on brewing great beer brands for our consumers," explained Molson Coors Brewing Company's Chief Financial Officer, Gavin Hattersley. "HP's expertise, along with a scalable, secure solution, delivers the business process services we need to stay competitive."
HP will utilize its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) platform to facilitate Molson Coors' transition from regional support. The solution improves operational effectiveness by integrating with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and offering robust workflows. The move will standardize Molson Coors' HR and finance processes on a global basis, aligning processes and applications, and making it easier for the company to expand into new markets. HP will utilize its centers in Canada, Costa Rica, India, Poland and the United States to provide a delivery model that combines HP technology and HP's global resource of experienced professionals.
