EdgeWave has launched a new service called ‘IPrism’. EdgeWave, which has headquarters in San Diego, California, United States, was established in 1995. The company delivers “the world’s safest inboxes” by providing rigorous levels of protection against “email-borne security risks”. EdgeWave’s services provide pre- and post-delivery security that leverage ThreatTest – its automated, anti-phishing solution. iPrism Cloud Web Security (iPrism Cloud) represents yet another layer of end-to-end protection for its more than 3.5 million users globally.
An increasingly mobile workforce adds to companies’ security issues, particularly in relation to email-borne threats and emerging ‘blended threats’. iPrism Cloud protects offers a scalable cloud platform that protects a company’s devices in any location. The service “protects users with highly advanced threat detection and mitigation capabilities” blocking threats from phishing malware, viruses, botnets, and other types of attack. It is easy to use and requires minimal IT maintenance. iPrism Cloud also “complements EdgeWave's suite of security solutions, including ThreatTest”.
"With iPrism Cloud, users are protected from malicious links embedded within phishing emails, whether they're working in the office, at home, at the corner coffee shop or on another continent," explained EdgeWave’s Vice President of Product Management, John Randall. "Since today's workforce is highly mobile, protection needs to follow the device, rather than be centered on a location. iPrism Cloud provides one instance to protect them all, wherever they may be."
