Multinational Information Technology Company TCS Launches Private Cloud in Canada

Multinational Information Technology (IT) company Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) has launched a private cloud in Canada. TCS, which has headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is a consulting company and part of the world famous Tata Group. Established in 1968, it operates in 46 countries. Its new “next-generation” private cloud targets Canadian enterprises and aims to “speed up their digital journey”.
Known as ‘Enterprise Cloud Platform’ (ECP), TCS’ services offers “multiple, flexible cloud infrastructure options”. These include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and hybrid cloud options. The services also allows companies to operate within Canada’s strict data sovereignty laws and enables enterprises to “adopt the cloud through easy transformations”.
