November 20, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Netcraft has announced DataPipe, Rackspace and Seeweb as being the most reliable hosting websites in October, 2007, it was reported recently.
The British-based web security and analytics firm, headquartered in Bath, England, based their announcement on the performance figures they generated in October. These figures included outage rates.
DataPipe was also recognized as most reliable in March 2007 and achieved second place in June and July, 2007. In October, Rackspace was in second space, this being its fourth top ten appearance in 2007. Italian company Seeweb also made third place in September, 2007. Four of October's top ten web hosts operate Linux. Three - including DataPipe - run FreeBSD. Two operate Windows Server 2003.
