Umbrellar Group has announced the launch of new cloud options. Umbrellar Group, whose head office is in Rosedale, Auckland, New Zealand, is dedicated to helping New Zealand’s businesses “navigate an ever-changing tech landscape”. With over 20 years in business, the company has a network of partners and through its resources and expertise establishes “practical strategies and solutions” for its customers’ IT concerns. Its new ‘Umbrellar Cloud’ offering is underpinned by Microsoft Azure Stack and Microsoft Azure.
Umbrellar Group’s new offering sits alongside its current services, which include web hosting, cloud servers, dedicated servers, colocation, email hosting and SSL certificates. The company also offers domain name registration services. By leveraging Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, Umbrellar Group’s customers can benefit from the flexibility of Azure Public Cloud through Azure Stack hosted on their premises. The hybrid solution will feature a multi-cloud management portal that facilitates Microsoft Azure Public Cloud access and manages services in a “single Azure consistent environment”. It will be supported by Umbrellar Group’s extensive local team of experts.
“We are evolving our product line to give more to our customers,” explained Head of Cloud at Umbrellar Group, Mr. David Howden. “We will be executing our Microsoft relationship with Microsoft Azure and Azure Stack and evolving the collaboration services offered to customers through Microsoft 365.” “This is an opportunity for medium to large businesses to take the future into their own hands and reinvent themselves,” added Umbrellar Group’s CEO, Michael Foley. “We have done that ourselves, building on our virtualized private cloud to create an entirely new business from the ground up”.
