TFHost was named the country’s ‘Best Local Hosting Company’ in 2018 at an awards ceremony last week. TFHost, which has headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, bills itself as “Nigeria's leading web hosting and domain registration company”. It offers managed web hosting services, cloud hosting, VPS hosting, code guard options, and website software design alongside reseller web hosting.
The company prides itself on enhancing “the performance, security and reliability” of its customers’ services and offers free data migration. The cost of its packages ranges between ₦10,000 ($27.74) per month and ₦25,000 ($69.35) per month. The award was given by the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA).
NiRA was established in 2005 and has headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. The organization manages Nigeria’s ‘dot ng’ top level domain name and oversees NIRA certified registrars allowed to register these domain names. The ‘Best Local Hosting Company’ recognizes web hosts and domain name registrars in Nigeria and celebrates their achievements and innovation. TFHost received their award at a gala dinner held at Celebration Garden, Ikeja, Lagos. “TFhost has redefined the hosting Landscape in Nigeria for good and will continue to exceed the high expectations that will follow this award,” suggested Chibuike Duru, TFhost’s Manager.
