TFhost, which has headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, is a division of ‘Trefoil Networks’ - an “IP centric company” incorporated in Nigeria and licensed for over 15 years by Nigeria’s NCC and NBC. Trefoil Networks has headquarters in the same location as TFhost and is focused on telecommunications, e-solutions, and media. TFhost is a domain registration company that also specializes in hosting and hosting-related services offered through its own data centers in Nigeria.
The “Best Local Hosting Company of the Year” award for 2019 is run by the Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NIRA) - the body responsible for the ‘.ng’ country code ‘Top-level Domain’ (ccTLD) - and was presented at the ‘Fourth Annual .ng Awards’ held recently in Lagos, Nigeria. The awards celebrate innovation in Nigeria’s internet sector and the achievements of Nigerian businesses, particularly those that “help to make the internet a more secure, open, accessible and rewarding experience”. The award was presented by a panel of NIRA accredited registrars, board members and the NIRA secretariat who cast votes for the nominees. This is the second year in a row the company has won the award.
“TFhost will continue to take measures to improve on the factors that helped them to win the best local hosting company of the year back to back,” explained the company’s Head of Sales and Business Development, Chinedum Stan-Mbachu, who received the award on behalfd of the company’s CEO. “This award further cements our position as best in class in the country at large”. She also appreciated the general public for their support and the Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NIRA) for choosing TFhost as deserving of the award once again”.
