North American Cloud Provider Connectria Hosting Participates in LaunchCode
North American cloud provider Connectria Hosting has announced it is participating in LaunchCode. A non-profit "paired programming" service, LaunchCode aims to help junior developers gain the experience they require to fill available positions at companies in the US state of St. Louis. The scheme manages this through a "combination of pair programming and mentorship". Pair programming is a scheme where two developers work on the same product at the same time to learn from each other and share skills.

The largest private managed hosting company in St. Louis, Connectria Hosting offers a range of services including cloud computing, managed hosting and custom managed hosting solutions. The company caters to around 1,000 customers in 30 countries. It's involvement in LaunchCode is a response to St. Louis' need for local computer programmers as it becomes a technology hub. LaunchCode addresses the state's lack of experienced talent by helping novice programmers acquire more experience.

"Connectria is proud to be a participant in the LaunchCode initiative," explained Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of Connectria, Rusty Putzler. "As a growing managed hosting company, we are continually looking to hire and retain top technology talent. LaunchCode provides Connectria a vehicle for cultivating local talent that benefits the St. Louis community at-large as well as potential employment candidates for Connectria."
