Operating System Provider CloudLinux Announces Online Tutorial
Operating system provider CloudLinux has announced it has launched a new online tutorial. CloudLinux, which was established in 2009, has headquarters in Arcadia, California, United States. Its flagship product is “the only commercially supported operating system (OS) optimized for hosting service providers” and is specifically designed for those providers that cater to “a significant level of shared hosting accounts” and data centers that provide enterprise-level servers. The tutorial, “Getting Started with CloudLinux OS”, covers using the platform on a ‘multitenancy’ basis and will be regularity updated as improvements to the OS are made.

CloudLinux OS currently underpins around 30,000 servers. It provides stable memory and CPU, connections for each hosting tenant on a server, strictly partitioning and limiting the use of available server resources to improve profitably through reduced churn rates. The new tutorial will give users an insight into the essential elements of CloudLinux OS. Aside from looking at its features, it provides a range of videos and in-depth articles that cover aspects such as installation, management and licensing issues.

“Most of the CloudLinux OS features can be turned on one by one - that’s why enabling educated choices for our customers is very important,” explained the CEO of CloudLinux, Igor Seletskiy. “Moreover, as we often release new features, this Getting Started with CloudLinux OS guide will also help our current customers understand what those features are all about”.
