CloudBees, Inc. has launched Continuous Cloud Delivery (CCD), a new cloud-based solution which caters for users with web and mobile applications that need updating frequently enough to keep abreast of market requirements and competition .
CCD avoids standard application delivery methodologies, which are often fraught with issues. Often development teams are in different locations and unable to track software changes properly. In addition, teams are often forced to use a range of development tools and processes. Teams also experience delays caused by the need to manually allocate resources between development stages. CCD's cloud-based infrastructure enables developers to see when code has been changed and indicates application status on an ongoing basis. Its avoids manual intervention to adjust resources by providing a scalable and elastic environment that gives developers the resources they require. It also provides central repositories where source code and version control management can be shared, automatically incorporating code changes and processes based on rules established by the development team. The system also offers continuous deployment which makes updates available as soon as they are ready.
