Patrick Emerson has joined compliant cloud hosting solutions provider Hostway Services, Inc.
(Hostway). With head offices in Austin, Texas, United States, Hostway offers customized platforms that meet the exact needs of companies in a range of business areas. Established in 1998, the company recently received HITRUST CSF certification and operates data centers that are SSAE 16 and ISO 27001-certified and HITRUST, PCI and HIPAA compliant. Its services extend to shared and managed hosting alongside dedicated private servers, ecommerce solutions and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) options. The company also provides virtual private, dedicated private, and hybrid clouds. Mr. Emerson joins the company of Senior Vice President (SVP), Worldwide Sales.
An industry veteran with three decades of experience, Mr. Emerson has been involved in business development and overseeing channels at both public and private companies. Immediately prior to joining Hostway, Mr. Emerson was VP, Sales at Austin, Texas-based software-defined IT operations provider Zenoss. At Zenoss he was in charge of the company’s global sales and helped increase channel sales by 300%. His career has also included the VP, Channels and Global Alliances position at EMC, and before this VP of Sales and Business Development for Troux Technologies. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer-based management systems which he gained from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, United States. He will lead Hostway's global field sales and channels organizations with a focus on increasing revenue through partners and direct sales.
