Jelastic, Inc. and billing and support company WHMCS have formed a partnership. The two organizations are working on a solution that will allow web hosts to “bypass billing system integrations” to facilitate a “more rapid, turnkey cloud platform deployment”.
Jelastic’s solution provides turnkey scalable cloud options that enable web hosts to cater to customers looking to develop and deploy Ruby, PHP, and Java applications. WHMCS’ “universal billing system” offers web hosts the ability to integrate around 75 payment systems and will be integrated into Jelastic’s solution. This will facilitate WHMCS account creation from within Jelastic and a single sign on option between Jelastic and WHMCS billing panel interfaces.
Jelastic has headquarters in San Mateo, California. The company’s cloud deployment and management software combines IaaS and PaaS within a “single turnkey platform”. UK-based WHMCS was founded in 2005. It is regarded as being the first provider to combine billing and support solutions and offer them as a package. The company caters to businesses in over 90 countries.
