Professional Services Company Accenture Acquires SAP Channel Partner Intrigo
Professional services company Accenture has acquired SAP channel partner Intrigo Systems, Inc. (Intrigo). Accenture has head offices in Dublin, Ireland. Established in 1989, the company caters to a broad range of industries and companies in around 120 countries. It offers consulting services and provides customers with operations, digital, and technology solutions. The company also transitions its customers’ workloads to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Intrigo is Accenture’s second acquisition in the last number of days and underscores the company’s ongoing $1 billion strategy of expansion through Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

Intrigo has headquarters in Fremont, California, United States. Established in 2009, the company provides “advisory, implementation, and support services” that leverage the SAP Enterprise technology infrastructure. Intrigo has been involved with SAP in designing ‘Advance Planning and Optimization (APO)’ for “some of the largest successful environments”. The acquisition is designed to help Accenture meet increased for supply chain management services and real-time collaboration with suppliers.

“We are in the era of the intelligent supply chain, where technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation and analytics allow the supply chain to serve as a growth engine as it connects to all elements seamlessly, with a focus on delivering value,” suggested Accenture Technology Services’ group chief executive, Bhaskar Ghosh.
