July 2, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Japanese dedicated server hosting company Prox System Design, Inc. (http://www.prox.ne.jp/) has selected SWsoft virtualization and automation software, it was announced recently. The software will be used to deliver “high availability hosting solutions” and enhance its Dual Stream virtual dedicated server service available this month. The company will utilize SWsoft’s Virtuozzo, Plesk and HSPcomplete solutions.
Prox System Design is an SWsoft Platinum Partner and the company uses SWsoft Virtuozzo operating system virtualization software to power its Virtual Private Server (VPS) services. This makes the system "virtually non-stop" by providing redundancy for the hosting system’s networking and hardware. SWsoft Plesk control panel software helps Prox customers more easily manage their VPS due to greater integration with Virtuozzo through SWsoft’s OPEN FUSION technology initiative. Prox also uses the SWsoft HSPcomplete hosting automation solution to manage its hosting platforms.
