Public, private, hybrid and multi-cloud services provider Jelastic
has partnered with DataCenter Finland Oy (DataCenter Finland). Jelastic, which has headquarters in Palo Alto, California, United States, was established in 2011. The company specializes in providing cloud-based services such as Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) options. The partnership opens Finland to “advanced DevOps Cloud opportunities for Finnish developers”.
DataCenter Finland, which has headquarters in Espoo, Finland, was established in 2008. The company specializes in offering customers “cloud storage services, backup services for self-hosted or outsourced data”. Its services extend to cloud storage, back up services for self-hosted and outsourced data, and disaster recovery options. DataCenter Finland also offers a range of consultation services and operates data centers in Kilo, Espoo and Vallila, Helsinki.
DataCenter Finland will offer the latest version of the Jelastic platform, Asgard 4.7. This version offers a number of enhancements on previous versions of the solution, including enhanced data sharing and “optimized disk space consumption”. Its partnership with Jelastic offers Finnish users “a comprehensive and automated platform with a number of features, aimed to satisfy the most demanded DevOps needs”. These features include fully elastic scalability, rapid environments setup, one-click deployment and a flexible “Pay-as-you-Go” approach to pricing.
