February 2, 2009 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) R1Soft
will be a Silver Sponsor at the Parallels Summit
, it was reported recently. The company will exhibit its next-generation Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software at the event, which is held today until February 4, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
R1Softs Founder and Vice President of David Wartell will speak at the event and introduce the features of the new CDP 3.0. Mr. Wartell will also talk about the rapid growth of data and the need for economical data protection solutions.
Parallels is one of those conferences that attracts a huge amount of international hosting providers, explained Mr. Wartell. With more than a third of our existing customers located in Europe, this event provides an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with users and resellers of our software. One of our primary goals is to further demonstrate how the European hosting market can make the nightly backup windows a thing of the past, as well as show existing and prospective hosting service providers how they can generate additional revenue with R1Softs data protection platform.
R1Soft was founded in 2003 and develops Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software. Its CDP Server 2.0 helps companies reduce IT costs by reducing hardware expenses. It is disk-based and synchronizes Windows and Linux servers on a near-continuous basis. The backups take a short time to restore and have minimal impact on server performance.
