Ray Kalustyan has joined managed cloud company
Rackspace Hosting Inc. (Rackspace). San Antonio, Texas-based Rackspace has a range of IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) offerings that leverage cloud solutions provided by Alibaba, AWS, Google, Microsoft, OpenStack, Oracle, SAP and VMware. The company helps customers “get to the cloud, innovate with new technologies and maximize their IT investments”. Mr. Kalustyan joins Rackspace as its Vice President and General Manager of Government Solutions.
Mr. Kalustyan is an industry veteran who brings several decades of experience to his new role. Prior to joining Rackspace he worked as Group Vice President and General Manager at Oracle where he served government entities in the company’s cloud and on-premise professional services division. In his career he has held executive positions at Fiserv, EDS, Getronics, Logica and Unisys. Very early in his career he spent a number of years at IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Susquehanna University and has qualifications from the University of Chicago and London Business School. He also holds an MBA from the Kogod School of Business at the American University. At Rackspace he will will work out of New Jersey and Reston, Virginia and draw on his experience selling government cloud solutions.
