Remote Access and Hosted Desktop Delivery Solutions Provider NoMachine Announces New Luxembourg Headquarters
Remote access and hosted desktop delivery solutions provider NoMachine has announced the opening of new headquarters in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The company, makers of NoMachine (NX) software, has also announced plans to open offices in the Latvian capital Riga and in Poland. The company opened a Research and Development facility in Georgia in January 2012.

Operating on a range of platforms, including Linux, NoMachine (NX) software is a desktop sharing, multimedia streaming and file-transfer solution for companies that need to access files and applications across multiple locations. The solution is noted for providing a local-desktop experience for users that might be separated by thousands of miles.

Since inception in February 2003, companies like HP, Google, IBM, Siemens, Motorola, SAP, Philips Semiconductors, Nokia, Verisign, VMWare, and Novell have utilized the solution to manage applications on a range of networks and to connect mobile and wireless workers. Version 4 extends the solution's remote access and desktop sharing capabilities to Windows and Mac users.

The company aims to leverage its new headquarters to underpin its international growth. “NoMachine is very excited to be expanding not just its customer base through new product offerings, but also its offices," explained General Manager of NoMachine Sàrl, Gaspare Tripi. "Putting NoMachine's global headquarters in Luxembourg was an obvious choice due to its central position between NoMachine's offices already in place, and the country’s successful track record in technology start-ups."
