Secure Internet infrastructure solutions provider
Evocative, LLC (Evocative) has announced its has acquired new data centers. Evocative, which is based in the United States, operates “secure, compliant, highly available data centers” and bills itself as “trusted guardians of our clients’ Internet infrastructure”. Acquired from 365 Data Centers, the two centers are in the ‘Silicon Valley’ area in the United States.
Located in Emeryville and San Jose, California, United States, the acquisition is a response to increased demand for Evocative’s services. The new carrier neutral centers allow the company to “immediately address the individual technology requirements and security needs of local businesses”. They become part of a network of data centers that includes facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area and add 40,000 square feet of colocation space to Evocative’s capacity, with the ability to further expand to 105,000 square feet.
HIPAA, PCI DSS, SSAE 16, SOC 2 and ISAE 3402 certified, both facilities meet exacting security and compliance requirements and boast ”100% uptime availability over the past 15 years”. News of the acquisition comes against a backdrop of Evocative adding Arman Khalili as Chief Executive Officer. He also joins the company’s board of directors.
