Secure IT infrastructure solutions provider
Agile Data Sites and data center company Lincoln Rackhouse have formed a partnership around the assets and customers of Bytegrid.
Agile Data Sites, which has headquarters in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, United States, was founded in 2015. The company offers “quality IT infrastructure, data and network solutions” and guides customers to an ‘as-a-service’ model for their IT solutions. Its expertise includes public, private and hybrid cloud alongside colocation, disaster recovery (DRAAS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IAAS) options. Agile Data Sites recently acquired the assets and customers of Bytegrid. Working with Lincoln Rackhouse, the two companies will expand their footprints into the Washington, D.C. area and “establish a presence in the Chicago, Illinois market”.
Lincoln Rackhouse is the data center division of Lincoln Property Company. With headquarters in Dallas, Texas, United States, the company is involved in a number of data center-related services such as data center tenant representation, data center landlord representation, and data center leasing services. It helps “organizations of all sizes locate, analyze, and secure data center space to lease or own” and has more than 20 years of experience “sourcing mission-critical data centers”. Together the two companies will lease “3MW of data center space and procure a portion of the services business” that Agile Data Sites acquired.
ByteGrid’s headquarters were based in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. The company’s services extended from “colocation to cloud” and included IT infrastructure options that reduced its customers’ costs. Its data centers are located in Silver Spring, Maryland; Aurora, Illinois, and Lynnwood, Washington. ByteGrid provided HIPAA-compliant hosting services alongside colocation, IaaS, dedicated servers, and ‘Virtual Private Cloud’ options. Agile Data Sites will extend its managed services through the extended footprint provided by ByteGrid’s additional data centers.
“We’re thrilled to be growing and expanding our business to better deliver future-proofed IT transformation solutions and meet even the most demanding needs of our clients,” explained Agile Data Sites CEO Jim Weller in a press release. “Partnering with Lincoln Rackhouse has helped us to successfully identify new growth opportunities and bolster our capabilities with strategic real estate investments.”
“We have clearly developed a strong business model based on a complex but proven approach to strategic acquisitions and operating partner leases,” added Lincoln Rackhouse’s Managing Director, Ryan Sullivan. “This process helps us to pave the way for operators like Agile as they expand into new markets and look for opportunities for business growth in this competitive sphere. This partnership underpins our dedication to serving as a trusted ally for service operators, creating flexibility and taking on the complex aspects of the process so our partners can remain focused on their core business operations.”
